Argent Communication Group has a number of technological and operational security functions in place to protect the confidentiality of personal information.

COOKIES

Paid subscribers to Reporters who wish to access full-text archives on Argentco.com must have "cookies" enabled on their browsers. Cookies are small items of computer code which are stored on subscribers' own personal computers and which are created when a paid subscriber first enters his/her password. This enables the paid subscriber to access the site thereafter without having to enter his/her password again. If the paid subscriber wishes to access Argentco.com from another computer, he/she must re-enter his/her password, thus creating a new cookie.

Argentco.com's cookies contain only the password that Argentco.com has assigned to the paid subscriber and a unique code which associates it with a subscriber's own computer.
