  • Fourth District Upholds City’s Certification of Addendum to EIR as Equivalent to Approval of Water Supply Assessment

Citizens for Responsible Equitable Environmental Development v. City of San Diego, 196 Cal.App.4th

Addressing a challenge to the process by which a city approved a Water Supply Assessment (WSA), the Fourth District Court of Appeal has held that the city’s certification of a final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) addendum, which incorporated the WSA by the city’s water department, was sufficient to comply with the requirements under Water Code § 10910 for approval of the WSA.
