U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Releases Draft Guidelines for Siting Wind Energy Projects
On February 8, 2011, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) released two draft documents that outline guidelines for siting wind energy projects in a manner that will avoid and minimize negative impacts to fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats.
