State Water Resources Control Board Issues Proposed Revisions to the Water Quality Enforcement Policy
The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) issued it proposed revisions to its Water Quality Enforcement Policy and held its fourth workshop on the proposed revisions on June 4th. While the revised draft policy addresses some stakeholder comments, many concerns remain, particularly with regard to “mandatory minimum penalties (MMPs) for violations of National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits.
