First District Court Finds Parcels Depicted on Antiquated Subdivision Map Are Not Entitled to Legal Recognition

The Court of Appeal for the First Appellate District held that a parcel depicted on a 1909 subdivision map is not entitled to legal recognition under the Subdivision Map Act’s (Gov. Code, § 66410, et seq.) “grandfather clause.”
