  • Superior Court Finds City Abused Its Discretion in Denying a Mobilehome Park Conversion Application as Incomplete

Pacific Palisades Bowl Mobile Estates, LLC v. City of Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Superior Court granted Pacific Palisades Bowl Mobile Estate’s petition for writ of mandate and held that the City of Los Angeles abused its discretion in determining that Palisades Bowl’s application to convert its mobilehome park to residential ownership was incomplete. The Subdivision Map Act sets forth the requirements for mobilehome conversions and the city cannot expand those requirements.
