Third District Holds County’s Flood Control Activities Met Reasonableness Standard—Did Not Give Rise to Inverse Condemnation Liability

In an action for inverse condemnation, the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, affirmed the trial court judgment finding no inverse condemnation liability where the defendant County of Butte’s (Butte) flood control activities met the applicable legal standard—the reasonableness rule.
