75th Session of the Nevada Legislature Commenced—Several Water-Related Bills on the Table
On February 2, 2009, the Nevada Legislature, which meets on a biannual basis, convened its 75th Session. While the focal point of lawmakers this session is on addressing budgetary concerns in the wake of the current economic conditions faced by the state, there are several water-related legislative proposals on the table. The following noteworthy bills were introduced in the first week of the session.
