Chesapeake Bay Foundation Sues U.S. EPA over Clean Water Act Alleged Violations in the Bay Recovery
Chesapeake Bay Foundation, et al. v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) and other environmental groups in January filed a suit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to compel the agency to meet its commitment to reduce pollution in the bay. Joining CBF as plaintiffs were the Maryland Saltwater Sportfisherman’s Association, watermen’s associations in Virginia and Maryland, and several individuals.
