  • U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Completes 14 Distinct Five Year Reviews for California Species

    On May 13, 2008, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service (FWS) completed five-year reviews for 14 species in California. The agency declined to make any status changes for any of the species, with the exception of the San Clemente Island larkspur, which FWS recommends downlisting from endangered to threatened. Additional species reviewed include:
