  • Land Use Subgroup of California Climate Action Team Issues Draft Submission to the California Air Resources Board

    On May 5, 2008, the Land Use Subgroup of the California Climate Action Team (LUSCAT) issued its draft submission to the California Air Resources Board Scoping Plan on Local Government, Land Use and Transportation (LUSCAT Submission). The purpose of the LUSCAT Submission is to provide California Governor Schwarzenegger’s Administration consensus recommendations on how to achieve emissions reductions from land use, encompassing strategies implemented by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) under the authority of California’s “Global Warming Solutions Act” (AB 32), as well as by other agencies under existing authorities.
