Multiple Groups File Suit on Environmental Impact Report Prepared for Much-Anticipated Sacramento Specific Plan
In December, 2007, the City of Sacramento approved the Railyards Specific Plan, a framework of development policies that will lead to development of a mixed-use neighborhood adjacent to Sacramento’s downtown urban core, consisting of high-density residential, office, commercial, hotel, entertainment and cultural uses. Approval of the specific plan drew four lawsuits currently pending before the Sacramento Superior Court. A summary of each of these lawsuits appears below.
