    Surfrider Foundation, Planning and Conservation League v. California Coastal Commission (Poseidon Resources, LLC, et al., Real Parties in Interest)

    On January 23, 2008, District Court Judge Oliver Wanger issued another order in Natural Resources Defense Council v. Kempthorne. The order concerns several motions to dismiss that challenged the plaintiffs’ second supplemental complaint. As discussed in greater detail below, the court issued a mixed ruling which denied certain motions and granted others on specific grounds.
