    California Coastkeeper Alliance v. McCamman

On October 9th, 2007 the California Coastkeeper Alliance, representing 12 nonprofit Waterkeeper groups, filed a petition for writ of mandate in the Sacramento County Superior Court against the California Department of Fish and Game. The petition alleges that the agency’s instream flow program, required by law to include studies and recommendations to protect fish and wildlife, has failed to meet the statutory requirements for 25 years.
