    City of Los Angeles et al. v. Kern County et al., ___F.Supp.2d___

    On August 10, 2007, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California granted summary judgment for the City of Los Angeles, ruling that Kern County’s blanket ban on land application of biosolids violated the California Integrated Waste Management Act (CIWMA) and the dormant Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
