Nevada Legislature Adjourns after Passing Several Significant Water- Related Bills

On June 5, 2007, the 74th Session of the Nevada Legislature adjourned. During the 2007 Session, several significant acts relating to water were passed. Issues relating to the Nevada State Engineer’s authority, ground-water administration, conservation, and planning are the highlights various bills. This article provides a synopsis of each piece of enacted legislation.
