Colorado State Engineer Adopts New Written Instructions and Orders for Division Engineers Regarding Water Rights and Storage and Power Generation
On May 31, the Colorado Office of the State Engineer adopted “written instructions and orders” concerning the administration of subordination agreements, storage rights by seniors, and power interference contracts. These orders clarify and confirm the State Engineer’s position on these issues and direct the various Division Engineers accordingly in administering Colorado water rights.
