‘Great Lakes Collaboration Implementation Act’ Is Introduced in Congress to Address the ‘Great Lakes Regional Collaboration Strategy to Restore and Protect the Great Lakes’
In March of this year Representatives Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill., and Vernon Ehlers, R-Grand Rapids, in the House, and Sens. Carl Levin, D-Mich., and George Voinovich, R-Ohio, in the Senate, have introduced a bill (Great Lakes Collaboration Implementation Act) seeking to implement the vast majority of the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration Strategy to Restore and Protect the Great Lakes recommendations, along with one stunning addition.
