Texas Legislature Warms Up for Another Swing at Major Water Legislation
In 2005, at the end of its last biennial session, the Texas Legislature failed in the eleventh hour to pass Senate Bill 3, the next big step in water planning the state needs to take to ensure adequate water supplies for the future. In January 2007, the Texas Legislature will tackle a new version of Senate Bill 3, which will address many of the important issues that the legislature tried to cover last session.
