U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Settles Claims by Environmental Groups Regarding Impacts of Colorado River’s Glen Canyon Dam Operations on Native Fish Species

On August 25, 2006 the federal District Court, District of Arizona, approved a settlement agreement between environmental groups and the Bureau of Reclamation (Bureau) in which the Bureau agreed to further study of the impacts of Glen Canyon Dam on endangered fish in the Colorado River.
