Virginia General Assembly to Address Garbage Barge Compromise on James River
Environmentalists and waste officials in Virginia are proposing legislation that they say would result in the strongest rules in the country for garbage barge containers. The proposed legislation settles an ongoing dispute between the parties and will is proposed for introduction in the 2006 session of the General Assembly.
