Attorney General Opines that Electronic Posting of Meeting Agendas Authorized by Brown Act

In an opinion filed December 20, 2005, the California State Attorney General concluded that the Ralph M. Brown Act (Brown Act, Gov. Code, §§ 54950-54962)—California’s “open meeting law”—authorizes a municipality to post a meeting agenda on a touch-screen electronic kiosk.
