San Diego County Water Authority Adopts Urban Water Management Plan Implementing $3.1 Billion Capital Improvement Program
On November 17, 2005, the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) Board of Directors approved an Urban Water Management Plan including an aggressive water conservation program and a $3.1 billion capital improvement program. The 2005 plan calls for improving water reliability to the Water Authority’s 23 member agencies by conserving and diversifying the region’s water supply portfolio.
