California Department of Finance and the Little Hoover Commission Scrutinize CALFED
CALFED, the joint state and federal program charged with oversight of water resources in the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta ecosystem (Bay-Delta), has been the repeated subject of scrutiny and criticism over the past year. In response to Governor Schwarzenegger’s call for independent review of the CALFED program, two agencies released performance reports evaluating the program’s progress over the last five years.
