State Water Resources Control Board Holds Initial Hearing in Lake Arrowhead Enforcement Proceeding
On November 8 and 9, 2005 the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) held a hearing to determine whether to issue a final cease and desist order and whether to impose administrative civil liability against Lake Arrowhead Community Services District (LACSD) for the district’s consumptive use of water from Lake Arrowhead, at the end of which the proceedings were continued to provide an opportunity for further settlement discussions.
