State Water Project Contractors File Suit against the Department of Water Resources Alleging Improper Billing Practices

On April 25, 2005, 14 water agencies filed suit against the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) in Sacramento County Superior Court, At issue is the DWR’s State Water Project (SWP) billing practices and whether the water agencies have been, and are continuing to be, overcharged for Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta water costs.
