    California’s Central Valley is facing a host of water quality issues in recent months, as the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional Board) has cracked down on violators of water quality laws, done away with agricultural exemptions, and is working towards a proactive policy for water quality management. Central Valley farmers, dairies, and cities, however, have not greeted the Regional Board’s efforts with wholehearted support.
