California Assembly Bill 159 Proposes to Change Irrigation District Voting Procedures

In January 2005, Assembly Member Salinas (DSalinas) introduced Assembly Bill (AB) 159, which seeks to amend irrigation district law within the California Water Code to eliminate the requirement that irrigation district directors be landowners within the district.
