Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania Awards Attorney’s Fees under the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law.
Solebury Township v. Penn. Department of Environmental Protection,
The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania has awarded attorney’s fees to townships who challenged a proposed highway construction plan on the grounds that it would violate water quality standards. The court ruled that the petitioners were prevailing parties, even though the plans were withdrawn before a hearing was held on the case.
