Ninth Circuit Reverses District Court Ruling Related to Implementation of the Star Fire Restoration Plan

On December 11, 2003, the Ninth Circuit reversed a District Court decision denying the request of the Earth Island Institute and the Center for Biological Diversity for a preliminary injunction against implementation of the United States Forest Service (USFS) restoration project for two national forests located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
