Sacramento County Files Lawsuit Against Florin Resources Conservation District
Sacramento County Water Agency v. Florin Resource Conservation Dist.
On August 20, 2001, the Sacramento County Water Agency (SCWA) and the County of Sacramento (collectively "Sacramento") filed a lawsuit in Sacramento County Superior Court against the Florin Resources Conservation District (FRCD) alleging that FRCD violated a water agreement with SCWA, and that FRCD acquired a retail water system, adopted ordinances, and undertook other actions related to the acquisition of the water system in excess of its authority.
