  • Former EPA Safe Drinking Water Act Arsenic Rule Lowering Levels is Suspended by Bush Administration

    The fact that arsenic is poisonous, even carcinogenic, is settled. However, the United States Environmental Protection Agency under the Bush Administration (Current EPA) recently suspended a standard promulgated by the Clinton Administration (Former EPA )to reduce allowable arsenic levels in drinking water from 50 parts per billion (ppb) to 10 ppb.
