Yolo County Superior Court Upholds Discharge Permit Issued by Regional Water Quality Control Board to University of California
Regents of the University of California v. State Water Resources Control Board
The Yolo County Superior Court on February 8, 2001 upheld the waste discharge requirements issued to the University of California (University) for its discharge of treated wastewater at the Davis campus, over the University's objections that the waste discharge requirements were adopted in violation of the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, the Administrative Procedures Act, and the Basin Plan's Narrative Toxicity Objective.
